Position Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah, in collaboration with Intermountain Primary Children's Medical Center, is actively seeking a fellowship-trained pediatric gynecologist dedicated to an academic career in pediatric and adolescent gynecology.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver clinical care while engaging in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows on pediatric and adolescent gynecologic and reproductive health issues.
2. Provide instruction and supervision to fellows (including pediatric endocrinology, reproductive endocrinology, pediatric surgery, and pediatric urology), residents (from obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, and family medicine), and medical students in the field of pediatric and adolescent gynecology.
3. Conduct lectures and participate in Grand Rounds, M&M Conferences, Journal Club, Division meetings, and other departmental activities.
4. Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, fostering their professional development.
5. Engage in the interview process for fellows and residents, as well as participate in pediatric multi-disciplinary clinics.

Administrative Duties:
Contribute to various administrative and committee responsibilities as expected from faculty members.

Required Qualifications:

1. MD or DO from an accredited institution.
2. Board certified or board eligible in obstetrics/gynecology.
3. Completion of a pediatric & adolescent gynecology fellowship.
4. If eligible, completion of the ABOG focused practice designation in pediatric & adolescent gynecology (if not currently eligible, a plan to sit for the exam when eligible in the future is required).
5. Academic rank will be determined based on experience.
