Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Northampton, Massachusetts.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to support our Physical Therapy team in providing high-quality patient care. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and provide education to patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
  • Provide education to patients and families on physical therapy techniques, exercises, and self-management strategies.
  • Conduct therapy sessions, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions as directed by Physical Therapists.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
