Job Summary

Sentara Therapy Center - Dumfries is seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will design, organize, and deliver massage therapy to improve clients' physical health by relieving stress, pain, muscle tension, and other discomforts, as well as increasing flexibility and mobility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality massage therapy services to clients
  • Assess clients' physical health and develop personalized massage therapy plans
  • Communicate effectively with clients and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans
Requirements:
  • Certificate in Massage Therapy (CER) from a recognized institution
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) certification from the Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
  • Related experience in massage therapy
