Position Summary:
The Houston office of Brown Sims is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil personal injury and property litigation. The selected candidate will handle a varied caseload, collaborating closely with a supervising shareholder on cases involving product liability, medical malpractice, premises liability, property damage, and other related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse range of cases from initiation to resolution.
- Work in partnership with a supervising shareholder.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests and formulate a discovery strategy.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive litigation plan.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide regular updates on case status.
- Participate in and conduct depositions, mediations, and court hearings.
