Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Center Point Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive oral hygiene assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Conduct dental cleanings and periodontal scaling and root planing procedures to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth.
  • Take and process dental X-rays as required for diagnosis.
  • Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants to prevent dental decay.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutritional counseling, and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
  • Evaluate and monitor patients' oral health by documenting findings and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures and surgeries as necessary.
  • Follow infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and dental technology through continuing education.
Qualifications:
  • Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Alabama.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proficient knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and patient care.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
