We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our truck fleet.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as vocational or technical certification. You will work closely with other technicians to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks on diesel engines, brakes, tires, and other vehicle systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform standard vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake work, and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer tools.
  • Identify root causes of failures and perform repairs as required.
  • Replace defective components as instructed.
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of their complaints.
  • Utilize shop management systems and electronic documentation available.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Vocational or technical certification post-secondary degree or technical certifications, preferred.
  • BASIC TOOLS REQUIRED.
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $$24.50 per hour, plus additional benefits, including certification bonuses, quarterly bonuses, sign-on bonuses, paid training, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more. This position also includes Paid Time Off (PTO) starting at DAY ONE with 80 hours per year, plus holidays.

About This Role:

This is a regular full-time position with 0-10% travel requirements. The ideal candidate will have two years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in required experience, preferred. A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred.
