Job Summary:

The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter is seeking a highly skilled Janitorial Supervisor to join our team. As a Janitorial Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of daily cleaning tasks, assisting other team members, and providing expertise and guidance to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Assist other team members with daily cleaning tasks as needed.
• Provide expertise and guidance to team members to ensure high-quality results.
• Oversee supplies inventory and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Make recommendations on chemicals and equipment used on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• Ability to pass all security clearance screenings to access property and building.
• Ability to work independently and function as a team member.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including day or evening shifts.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to move materials from one area to another.
• Must be able to operate any machines used by the Janitorial Department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience in Janitorial industry.

Work Environment:

This position works out of the Defense Finance & Accounting Services building located on the Rome Airforce Base.
