POSITION SUMMARY:

The CLUB Customer Service Specialist delivers exceptional service to our guests while showcasing the advantages of becoming a CLUB member. This role involves being the product authority while managing account services and executing various CLUB operations, including member acquisition, sales, customer engagement, peer mentoring, and adherence to regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to providing top-tier customer service, ensuring a pleasant and efficient shopping experience for all patrons.
  • Proactively welcomes customers and introduces them to the opportunity of joining the Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's CLUB or offers current members a distinctive and exclusive experience.
  • Implements all operational and compliance initiatives related to the Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's CLUB.
  • Showcases products to customers effectively.
  • Maintains awareness of promotional sales.
  • Aims to achieve personal and store metric goals and objectives.
  • Ensures accurate CLUB inventory management and maintains a clean and organized CLUB Booth.
  • Facilitates a comprehensive CLUB Member experience, including payment processing, addressing account inquiries, and handling applications.
  • Submits daily feedback and reports promptly and accurately.
  • Provides peer coaching, recognition, and support as a CLUB advocate and representative.
  • Offers assistance in all store areas based on business requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 Years of Experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a customer service setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to new processes and procedures.
  • Self-motivated and proactive when working independently.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk during shifts to assist customers on the sales floor.
  • Ability to hear effectively to communicate with others.
  • Frequent repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Consistent assessment of work accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.
  • Light physical work, including lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds regularly.
  • Occasional climbing or descending of ladders, stairs, or step stools.
  • Occasional work in noisy environments.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

  • Performs tasks under general supervision, utilizing established procedures and creativity. Makes selections from limited alternatives to resolve issues. Occasionally exercises independent judgment to complete assignments and often recommends improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices.
