Job Summary

We are seeking highly qualified Clinical Psychologists to provide essential services to students at various schools within the Kauai District. As a Clinical Psychologist V or VI, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psycho-diagnostic, psychotherapeutic, and consultative services to individuals with severe problems of personality, social, emotional adjustment, or mental retardation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform professional work concerned with the development and application of theories, principles, methods, and techniques relating to individual development, behavior, capacities, traits, interests, and activities.
  • Provide psycho-diagnostic, psychotherapeutic, and consultative services to individuals with severe problems.
  • Conduct prevention, training, and research activities.
  • Supervise multidisciplinary professional staff in program services.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess a doctoral degree from an accredited college in clinical psychology or a related field. A valid license to practice psychology in the State of Hawaii is also required. For the Level VI position, applicants must have a minimum of one additional year of professional clinical psychology experience.
