We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist Student Intern to join our team at PharmScript, LLC. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our on-site pharmacists to prepare prescription orders for facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists with proper labeling and filling of prescriptions
  • Accurately prepare prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
  • Packaging Rx labels with a thorough understanding of our Framework system
  • Packaging medications in bottles or bingo cards for dispensing and delivery
  • Restock and organize pharmacy shelves, including drugs and supplies
  • Remove out-of-date items from inventory and shelves
  • Refill offsite inventory boxes with emergency medications
  • Operate pharmacy automation equipment, including Accuflex, Dosis, E2, and others
  • Replenish Tharo and Zebra labels and maintain other pharmacy equipment
Requirements:
  • Current enrollment in a Doctor of Pharmacy program at an accredited institution (3rd year)
  • Active Intern Registration with the applicable state
  • Able to work independently and as part of a diverse team
  • Able to stand for 8 hours
  • Pharmacy Technician educational coursework preferred
  • One year or more of Long Term Care or Retail pharmacy experience preferred
