Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled GSE Mechanic to join our team at Elite Line Services. As a GSE Mechanic, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of ground support equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair of ground support equipment and facilities
• Execute basic maintenance assignments involving automotive, electrical, and systems trade skill sets
• Take direction and seek guidance from senior level mechanics
• Read and interpret repair manuals, electrical and hydraulic schematics, and supervisor/manager's instructions
• Work in tight and/or high spaces utilizing appropriate PPE and fall protection equipment

Requirements

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Must have own set of hand tools common to the trade
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays
• 1 year previous experience as mechanic in heavy, medium or light duty environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous work experience in an Airport environment
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures related to equipment repair
• Knowledge of general workplace safety requirements and procedures
• Technical certification in automotive repair field

Other Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport Security badge
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the Company's insurance policy
