**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Host to join our team at Juliet Italian Kitchen. As a Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, managing the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their wishes.

• Manage reservations and walk-ins, seating as many people as possible while maintaining a balanced customer flow in service sections.

• Record guest names and number of people in party when immediate seating is limited, and politely find party when table becomes available.

• Provide guests with estimated waiting time and accommodate special seating requests whenever possible.

• Seat guests based on guest preferences and balance customer flow in service sections.

• Offer guests a menu, place setting, and inform them of their server's name, inspecting the table for proper presentation and completeness.

• Relay messages and hand off chits to servers and bus persons as needed.

• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.

Requirements:

• 1 year host experience required.

• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Exceptional grooming habits and a warm, friendly demeanor.
