As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and coordination of department activities to ensure the highest level of patient safety and staff satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and supervision to radiology technologists and other department staff
- Coordinate department activities to ensure efficient and effective operation
- Develop and manage department budget to meet organizational and patient safety goals
- Ensure regulatory compliance and ongoing monitoring of departmental indicators
- Perform radiology technologist duties as needed to support the department
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited program in radiologic technology
- Specialized training in any modality required
- Supervisory experience in all medical imaging functions
- Previous experience as a radiology technologist or in a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulatory standards
