Job Description:

This is a full-time, long-term position with growth opportunity at a top energy and utility company in the Columbus, OH area.

  • The Warehouse Lead will manage storeroom inventory with cycle counts, staging, and overall inventory organization of utility materials.
  • They will operate Heavy JLG Equipment that can move up to 12K pounds of utility material.
  • Work outside in a laydown yard managing inventory by conducting cycle counts, staging, sorting, and reporting damages.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
  • Drive company flat beds or pickup trucks to transport materials to local yards. (No overnight travel).
About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, warehouse operations, and heavy equipment operation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage storeroom inventory with cycle counts, staging, and overall inventory organization of utility materials.
  2. Operate Heavy JLG Equipment that can move up to 12K pounds of utility material.
  3. Work outside in a laydown yard managing inventory by conducting cycle counts, staging, sorting, and reporting damages.
  4. Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
  5. Drive company flat beds or pickup trucks to transport materials to local yards. (No overnight travel).
  6. Work along others to complete tasks as well as vendors.
Requirements:
  • Completed High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Good communication skills to spot and carry out tasks.
  • Inventory and warehouse experience.
  • Skilled in using Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Outdoor Heavy Equipment Operation in a construction setting or lay down yard.
  • Experience operating equipment such as All-Terrain forklifts, Telehandlers, Cranes, and other JLG equipment is preferred.
Salary and Benefits:

Estimated salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Benefits include health insurance after 30 days, vision, dental, 401(k), short term disability, and life insurance.

We also offer 40 hours of PTO every 6 months, holiday pay for New Year's Day, July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, funeral pay, and jury duty pay.
