Job Title: Senior System Engineer/ Integrator

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer/ Integrator to join our team in the Northern Virginia area.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in system requirements, system development, and implementation to lead our Systems Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Lead support to design and development activities, ensuring the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
  • Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Coordinate with software architect and other technical delivery team members to overcome technical obstacles.
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
  • Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
Requirements:
  • A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) Polygraph.
  • SEVEN (7) or more years' experience with system requirements, system development, and implementation, system testing, etc.
  • Experience with Federal Government, DoD, or Intelligence Community customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with FULL SCOPE (FS) Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to derive and understanding of stakeholder needs.
  • Experience establishing processes to formally and proactively control and manage changes to requirements.
  • Experience supporting system requirements and system integration at the enterprise level.
  • Experience establishing and following a formal procedure for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces.
  • Experience delivering Agile project management principles and processes.
