Job Title: Flexo Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Flexo Press Operator to join our team at Fortis Solutions Group. As a Flexo Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating a flexographic printing press to produce high-quality printed products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate the flexographic printing press to produce printed products.
  • Review job tickets and work with the Press Helper to ensure proper setup and operation of the press.
  • Run jobs per specifications and log data related to the job setup and completion.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure printed products meet functional requirements.
  • Load substrates onto the press and record production data into the shop floor data collection system.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three years of press operator or printing-related production experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of press operation and basic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds with assistance.
Work Environment:
  • Regular exposure to dust and noise in the production environment.
  • Warehouse temperatures may be influenced by outside temperatures.
  • Regular skin and clothing exposure to ink.
