Position Summary: We are in search of a Software Quality Assurance Specialist to contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of advanced defense systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of Unix and Legacy software applications across various runtime environments.
- Develop and implement strategies for process enhancement and troubleshooting technical challenges.
- Generate and assess corrective action reports to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to address quality-related concerns.
- Lead and participate in comprehensive Process Evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- 5-7 years of experience in software development, Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management.
- Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word.
- Familiarity with ClearCase/ClearQuest or similar Source Code Management Systems is advantageous.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Development practices.
- Experience with Status Accounting and Tracking Systems.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with peers and customers of varying technical backgrounds.
- Specific experience with Naval Weapon Systems is a plus.
