Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Physician Assistant to join our team at HCA Healthcare. As a Critical Care Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our ICU/PICU/NICU units.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage critically ill patients in the ICU/PICU/NICU units
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and develop care plans
- Conduct thorough physical exams and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address patient needs
- Provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
