Responsibilities:

Job Description

We are looking for a proficient PLC Integrator with a strong background in industrial robotics and PLC systems to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the configuration and integration of PLC-based control systems tailored for robotic applications, utilizing TwinCAT and ROS for optimal real-time performance and management. This collaborative role involves close cooperation with our research team to devise and implement advanced automation solutions that encompass large-scale assembly and additive manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, programming, and configuring automated control systems for robotic assembly and additive manufacturing.
Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Mechatronics or related fields such as Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Robot and PLC programmer and integrator, ideally within an industrial automation or robotics context.
  • Comprehensive understanding of robotic systems, automation technologies, and system integration principles.
  • Expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging PLC systems, with the ability to assess system performance and implement effective corrective measures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • This position necessitates on-site collaboration with our team.

Desired qualifications:

  • Familiarity with TwinCAT software and Beckhoff automation technologies.
  • Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS).
  • Knowledge of sensing technologies, computer vision, and perception.
  • Background in human-robot collaboration.
