Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide personal care and companionship to our clients on an overnight shift. As a caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and engage them in meaningful activities. You will also perform light housekeeping tasks and monitor and report any changes in clients' health status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities, such as reading, watching movies, or playing games.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health status to the care coordinator.
  • Follow individualized care plans and provide care with compassion and respect.
  • Ensure clients' comfort and safety at all times.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Requirements

  • HHA certification in the state of New Jersey.
  • Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing excellent care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
