The Cardiac Sonographer II is responsible for performing diagnostic-quality echocardiographic studies in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform echocardiographic studies using advanced ultrasound equipment
Interpret and report findings to healthcare providers
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient studies and results
Requirements:
Associate degree in a related field
Certification in cardiac ultrasound (ARDMS or CCI)
1+ years of experience in echocardiography
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Working Conditions:
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide high-quality patient care. The role also requires the ability to lift 10 lbs. with one hand, push and pull heavy computers and equipment on wheels, and stand for long periods of time.
