Job Overview

At Ballad Health, we're seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

The Anesthesia Technician is a vital member of our Anesthesia Support Staff, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of anesthesia equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist licensed anesthesia providers in the preparation and application of equipment and supplies
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of anesthesia equipment
* Transport equipment to other departments and within the O.R.
* Maintain a thorough knowledge of anesthesia delivery systems, monitors, and ancillary devices
* Demonstrate competency in the care of patients across various age groups

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED
* Previous work experience in an OR/Anesthesia setting preferred
* Licenses and Certifications: BLS

Work Requirements

* Shift: Days
* On Call: No
* Weekends: Rotating
* Travel Required: No
