We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Care Supervisor at Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Syracuse, NY.
About the RoleThis is a supervisory position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills and be able to effectively manage a team of nurses to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- To ensure that all nursing staff are adequately trained and equipped to deliver exceptional care to our residents
- To establish a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication and collaboration among team members
- To maintain accurate records and reports related to resident care and treatment
- To develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care and services provided
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required
- At least 3 years of experience in long-term care is necessary
- Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and e-prescribing programs is an advantage
The salary for this position is $100,000 per annum, with opportunities for growth and development within the company. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is also available for the right candidate.
