As a Music Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education, creating a dynamic experience that inspires students to learn and grow. You will:

• Maximize the quality of music instruction through private lessons and show rehearsals
• Ensure students learn the fundamentals of music, not just songs, using the School of Rock Method
• Create and document thoughtful lesson plans using our patented teaching Method, Books and Method App

• Communicate with parents on student progress through quality lesson notes and assignments in the School of Rock Method App
• Interact with parents and students regularly, being visible and accessible while at the school
• Pitch in during canceled lessons to support the overall execution of the program
• Assist in rehearsals and with the upkeep of lesson facilities

Skill Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience teaching and/or performing music professionally
• Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design
• Strong customer relations skills and ability to deal well with a wide range of customers
• Strong organizational skills and resourcefulness
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive demeanor
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
