Job Description

We are seeking a talented Medical Analytics Consultant to join our team at MedStar Health. As a key member of our analytics group, you will be responsible for developing and preparing reports, dashboards, and analysis to support the organization's goals.

Your primary duties will include performing advanced analytics on various aspects of operations, monitoring trends, and reporting findings. You will also collect and utilize operational and benchmarking data to recommend targets for improvements in customer service, productivity, and control of costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain standards of performance, evaluate performance, and conduct performance management planning.
  • Assist the plan leadership and all managers in the analysis of health plan operations for the preparation of operational and financial recommendations to the plan leadership.
  • Collaborate with various areas to operationalize process improvements and mitigate/resolve negative trends in operational and clinical data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field required.
  • 5-7 years experience in managed care or healthcare, accounting, finance, analytics, project leadership or related experience required.
