Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Professor of Vocational Nursing to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering coursework in engaging and innovative ways, reflecting a commitment to the college's core values and knowledge of the teaching field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow approved course descriptions and syllabi.
  • Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations, including evening and weekend programs.
  • May include Dual Credit courses.
Requirements
  • Associates degree, certificate, diploma, or higher in discipline/qualifying field and hold current license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or a Registered Nurse in Texas.
  • Teaching experience is desired.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a sedentary environment with occasional walking and standing. The position requires talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking, and repetitive motions, as well as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
