Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a skilled Network Administrator to support our Intelligence Program. The ideal candidate will coordinate with other NOC and Operational staff, lead platform upgrades, and develop technical resolution reports for critical outages in the Network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing system patching and IAVA patches to network routers and switches.
  • Performing IOS and software upgrades.
  • Drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for network operations.
  • Troubleshooting systems failures and accessibility problems within the network to our services.
  • Monitoring network performance, tracking usage, and developing capacity planning reports.
  • Making recommendations that enhance operational efficiencies for network monitoring, management, and overall operations.
  • Supporting engineering design data calls.
  • Supporting new/enhanced network implementation, installation, and technical refresh projects within a site or locale.
  • Performing network ticket resolution.
  • Configuring, deploying, managing, and maintaining network monitoring systems used by the technicians to ensure availability and overall performance of systems and services.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a Top-Secret / SCI eligible clearance (active and in-scope) with the ability to obtain a polygraph before the first day of work. This contract and clearance require US Citizenship.
  • Meets DoD 8570 Certification IAT Level II requirements.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing and maintaining network monitoring systems.
  • Experience with network engineering design.
