Job Summary:
Community Health Network is seeking a skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to athletes and active individuals in a middle or high school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prevent, assess, and treat emergency, acute, and chronic injuries.
- Recondition athletes and active individuals after injury to prevent injury recurrence, impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to promote optimal recovery and function.
- Communicate effectively with staff, peers, patients, families, physicians, and all internal/external customers.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in athletic training.
- Current or temporary Indiana license, pending license must be obtained within 45 days of start date.
- Current Board of Certification (BOC), Inc. Athletic Training certification.
- Knowledge of anatomy/physiology, current treatment techniques, and functional progressions.
- Ability to lift/transfer patients or treatment supply items without restriction.
- Ability to organize responsibilities and set priorities.
- Ability to function independently and make independent judgments and sound decisions.
