Work Schedule
This position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities
The Patient Access Specialist will be tasked with:

  • Facilitating patient access activities for various services, ensuring smooth operations and optimal satisfaction for both patients and staff.
  • Acting as a key point of contact between INTEGRIS and patients, providers, and payers, addressing all pre-care inquiries.
  • Providing comprehensive information regarding patient coverage, benefits, and financial responsibilities.
  • Conducting financial counseling, including screening for assistance programs and payment options.
  • Handling inbound communications from patients and other stakeholders to resolve inquiries effectively.
  • Documenting all patient interactions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Participating in team initiatives aimed at improving departmental processes.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in patient access operations or related fields.
  • Familiarity with scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and customer service.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is preferred.
