ATC Largo is seeking a skilled Corrections Nurse to join our team. As a Corrections Nurse, you will provide high-quality care and care coordination for inmates in a correctional facility.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing assessments and referrals to medical evaluation as needed
  • Dispense medications and monitor medical compliance
  • Support the use of FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Provide patient care in a non-judgmental and culturally sensitive manner
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program at the Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse level
  • Active, current, and unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice
  • At least one year of experience as a Corrections Nurse
  • Background screening and drug screening as required by the contract
