Essential Qualifications:

* FETC-certified Instructor (for Probation/Parole training)
* Law Enforcement Subject Matter Expert (for elective courses)
* Certified firearms instructor (for practical range training)
* Credentials for specialized instructional areas (for contracted training)

Compensation Range: Varies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging classroom or online instruction and provide academic support for designated courses. Lesson plans should be crafted or executed to ensure high-quality and consistent educational delivery. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong organizational abilities, the capacity to inspire and support student success with minimal oversight, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Facilitate face-to-face instruction both on and off campus to various organizations, including military, governmental, corporate, and educational entities within the service area.
  • This position encompasses educational responsibilities across the following disciplines: Police Academy (Act 120), Mandatory In-Service (Act 180), Lethal Weapons (Act 235), Probation/Parole courses, Law Enforcement Elective training, Contracted training, and Firing Range facilitation.
