About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Research Analyst to join our research team at Industrial Info Resources. As a Market Research Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting investigative market research, gathering and verifying information, and recording data related to the Industrial market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct surveys and extract new market data using various methods, including phone interviews, questionnaires, market analysis surveys, and internet search techniques.
  • Review and record market data in preparation for client usage.
  • Perform data entry into our company database and other duties required for task completion.
  • Verify the accuracy and validity of data in the database and correct any errors.
  • Collaborate with other researchers while conducting market research.
  • Compose short reports or news alerts summarizing completed research, emphasizing the value added to existing records in the database.
  • Prepare and present summaries of survey data, including tables, graphs, written text, and fact sheets that describe research results.
  • Monitor relevant industry trends and maintain a strong command of industry terminology, including heavy equipment and industry process details.
  • Respond to client requests received via various channels with high efficiency.
  • May present research analysis at client meetings, company-hosted seminars, or trade shows.

  • Written Communication: Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least two years of related experience working in a data-driven/research environment.
  • Strong technical skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers, and other specialized software.
  • Prior work experience in database entry work is preferred.
