Join Our Team
NorthWestern Energy is seeking a skilled Journeyman Lineman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing power line installation, maintenance, and service work. You will also be part of our Distribution Operations team, working closely with engineers, planners, and other stakeholders to ensure the reliable delivery of electricity to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical outages and complete installation and maintenance work related to all aspects of electric distribution systems
- Perform sustained work at heights, including ladder work, climbing, and working from poles and bucket trucks
- Install and retire overhead and underground electric lines
- Maintain lines and support structures in substations; erect steel to replace or increase size of substation structures as needed
- Interact with the public and assume leadership roles in emergency situations
