Job Summary:

As a Class B Delivery Driver for FreshPoint Bix Produce Company, LLC, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

You will be operating a Class B vehicle, navigating through various traffic and weather conditions, and interacting with customers to ensure their satisfaction.

This is a full-time position that requires a valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B and a minimum of one year of route delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
  • Communicate all errors/returns to management.
  • Handle any customer complaints professionally.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Sysco policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School or GED or equivalent.
  • One-year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B (Class A preferred).
  • Must be able to read and understand English.
