We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Surgical Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to strict sterile protocols.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and contributing to process improvements.
- Develop and maintain expertise in surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices, staying up-to-date with industry advancements.
- 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting.
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist, accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies and the American College of Surgeons.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software systems.
