Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Associates in Pediatric Therapy LLC. As a key member of our therapy team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and their families in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, provide occupational therapy services to patients with disorders that impact their daily living skills.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to enhance independence and promote functional skills in patients.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on treatment plans and progress.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in a thorough and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited institution and certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • A strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy principles and practices.
