Job Overview

We are currently seeking dedicated Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technicians to join our commercial cleaning team at Kept Companies. Our services focus on the thorough cleaning of kitchen hoods, ducts, and vents. While prior experience is beneficial, we are willing to provide training for the right candidates. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Work Schedule: Flexibility is required as shifts may include days, evenings, and nights. A valid and clean driving license is essential for operating our vehicles. All candidates will undergo a comprehensive background check and E-Verify process.

Key Responsibilities

The Kitchen Exhaust Cleaner will be tasked with:

  • Performing cleaning operations on Kitchen Grease Exhaust Vent Systems, kitchen appliances, and additional items as needed.
  • Driving company vehicles to various job locations.
  • Setting up and utilizing pressure washing equipment and chemical solutions.
  • Manually removing heavy grease buildup using hand tools and mechanical devices.
  • Documenting cleaning activities and identifying deficiencies with digital photography.
  • Engaging with clients and collaborating with team members, along with other duties as required.
Qualifications

To be considered for the Cleaning Technician role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving history.
  • Basic familiarity with hand and/or power tools.
  • HVAC experience is a plus.
  • Mechanical knowledge or equipment repair experience is preferred.
  • Dependability and reliability with a commitment to punctuality.
  • Ability to safely and effectively perform essential job functions.
  • Capability to climb ladders and lift/carry up to 50 lbs or more.
  • Strong attention to detail and efficiency in work.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong desire to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
