We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Oncology team. This is a per diem position that requires direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician.

The successful candidate will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide for personal care, and communicate with providers and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition and needs of the patients family.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide for personal care
  • Communicate with providers and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition and needs of the patients family
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care

Requirements:

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the State of Maine required
  • Active on the State of Maine CNA registry required
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS within 6 months of hire required
  • 1 year of continuous CNA experience preferred
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred
