About the Fellowship Program

The Emory Healthcare OB/GYN Fellowship is a one-year, post-graduate training program designed to equip you with the skills and expertise needed to excel in the multidisciplinary management of complex OB/GYN and women's health patients. Our comprehensive curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including outpatient obstetrics and gynecology, maternal fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and urogynecology.

Key Program Highlights

  • Gain hands-on experience in a variety of clinical settings, including Labor and Delivery and L&D Triage.
  • Develop expertise in the evidence-based management of complex OB/GYN and women's health patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Participate in educational programs and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills.


Eligibility and Application Requirements

To be considered for this fellowship program, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Completion of an accredited PA or NP master's program prior to the start of the Fellowship program.
  • National board certification as an NP or PA.
  • Eligibility for licensure as a PA or NP in Georgia.
  • Eligibility for DEA license.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association.

  • Statement of Intent: A one-page, 12-point font, double-spaced statement describing your career goals and reasons for pursuing the fellowship.
  • Curriculum Vitae: A comprehensive document outlining your educational background, professional experience, and relevant information.
  • Three Letters of Recommendation: Two from professors or program directors, and one from a professional peer.
  • Transcripts.
