Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist PRN to join our team at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado. As a CT Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes
  • Operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure production of quality images
  • Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation for exams
  • Review and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy
  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
  • Provide patient education, ensure patient comfort, and address patient and/or family concerns
  • Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other patient care providers
  • Practice appropriate infection control and sterile techniques
  • Keep accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions or incidents
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) within 60 days
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) upon hire
  • Certified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists ARRT (R)(CT) preferred
  • Licensure in state of practice as applicable upon hire
  • IV Competency within 90 days
  • 1-2 years work experience in a hospital setting preferred
