In today's data-driven landscape, the role of a Senior Data Architect has become more crucial than ever. With the rapid growth of global data expected to reach 10x by 2025, organizations must find effective ways to access, organize, and utilize their data to stay competitive.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Architect to join our team at Softchoice. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end designs of data and analytics solutions that meet client business requirements. This includes defining data architecture frameworks, standards, and principles, as well as providing technical oversight to solution delivery teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Translate client business requirements into technical specifications for end-to-end data and analytics solutions.
  • Define data architecture frameworks, standards, and principles, including modeling, metadata, and security for client projects.
  • Provide technical oversight to solution delivery teams to ensure adherence to client architecture and data governance standards.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, client stakeholders, Solution and Journey Architects to drive project completion.
  • Advocate for data security principles and ensure appropriate security practices are embedded in any data/analytics strategy.
Key Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 15 years of extensive architecture and design experience with secure, complex applications across various data sources and multi-cloud platforms.
  • Highly proficient in distributed computing and data principles, familiar with key architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and DMBok.
  • At least 10 years of experience designing solutions leveraging diverse data sources, formats, and architectural patterns, including batch, streaming, and transactional.
  • Solid knowledge of common database technologies, structured, unstructured, and OSS.
  • Understanding of data governance, data dictionaries, data security, and Master Data Management.
  • Deep understanding of when to use complex data and analytics services to solve enterprise data challenges.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is between $131,929 and $155,210 per year, plus a 14% performance-based bonus. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
