Responsibilities- Welcome patients into the treatment area and create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere
- Conduct thorough dental exams and collect oral health histories to identify potential issues
- Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection, and develop personalized treatment plans
- Perform a range of dental hygiene services, including plaque removal, dental prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and scaling and root planning
- Teach patients effective oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized guidance on maintaining good oral health
- Take x-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
- Collaborate with our dental team to provide comprehensive care and support
- Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene
- Current Dental Hygienist licensure
- At least 2-3 years of experience in dental hygiene
- Current CPR certification (re-certification provided)
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
