Job Summary

The Utility Laborer position is a bargaining unit role that requires a general knowledge and ability to perform basic construction-related tasks and utility tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build and install meter sets and basic pipe fitting
  • Complete turn-ons and light-ups
  • Meter reading and complete MRSLIP investigations
  • Leak pinpointing and repairs, service installations
  • Inspect UGI Contractor crews, PA One Call locates, respond to leak/CO complaints when qualified and perform other duties as requested and callout when qualified
Requirements
  • Good mechanical or pipefitting skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills a plus
