We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to serve the Veteran community and make a meaningful impact in their lives.
The ideal candidate will have an Au.D degree from an ASHA Accredited school and hold a current license as an Audiologist. We provide malpractice insurance, health insurance options, and ASHA Learning Pass membership with CEU opportunities.
This is an in-person position that requires the assessment of 3-6 Veterans per day, Monday through Friday. The schedule allows for flexibility with part-time considerations. Each patient visit ranges from 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes, providing ample time for thorough evaluations.
The salary for this role is estimated at $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a comprehensive compensation package that reflects your skills and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in the computer portal
- Review and assess Veterans' medical records
Requirements:
- Current Au.D degree from an ASHA Accredited school
- Hold a valid license as an Audiologist
