About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join our Virtual Surgical Planning department. As an Entry Biomedical Engineer, you will play a critical role in preparing planning files for virtual surgical planning meetings, working closely with healthcare professionals, staff, and sales representatives to perform surgical planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface directly with healthcare professionals, staff, and sales representatives to perform surgical planning.
  • Use CAD software to manipulate 3D files and combine multiple datasets for surgical planning.
  • Manage multiple priorities and communicate closely with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain detailed records of each case in accordance with our Quality Management System.
  • View patient CT and MRI studies in DICOM format and identify anatomies of interest.
  • Perform inspection of 3D printed surgical guides for quality and clinical effectiveness.
  • Use hand tools to buff, clean, or modify the surgical guides as needed.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, or other relevant technical field.
  • Experience: Entry-level candidate with relevant skills.
  • Experience collaborating or interacting with medical professionals.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers.

  • Salary Range: $61,000 - $72,000 annually.
