Chenega Professional Services LLC is a leading provider of professional services to the Department of the Air Force Family Advocacy Program. We are seeking an experienced Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate to join our team in Edwards AFB, CA.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Family Advocacy Treatment Manager and Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist to provide non-clinical emergent and urgent service to victims of domestic abuse. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality service to clients.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provides 24 hour/7 days a week response to victims alleging domestic abuse
  • Establishes a victim's safety plan on a case-by-case basis
  • Partners with the Family Advocacy Treatment Manager and Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist to establish safety plans
  • Reviews the safety plan during each victim contact
  • Develops safety plans based on initial and ongoing risk assessments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with victims of domestic abuse
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
