We are seeking a Per Diem Residential Assistant for our Pathways to Housing Program, located in Newark, NJ.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents by following proper risk management and safety procedures.
  • Demonstrate understanding of cleaning agents, their proper application, and usage directions.
  • Implement infection control and safety measures, including standard precautions and hazard communications.
  • Report safety issues or job-related concerns to the supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain a clean environment in a timely manner and adhere to established routines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
  • OR 3 years of experience working with the homeless population in lieu of a HS diploma or GED.
