We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Rooms Operations to join our team at The Capitol District Marriott. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Rooms Division, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel meets the highest standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Rooms Division team, including front office, housekeeping, and loss prevention operations.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure that all Rooms Division operations are running smoothly and efficiently, with a focus on quality, productivity, and guest satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the Rooms Division, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
- Guest Service: Ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the Rooms Division team.
- Safety and Security: Ensure that the hotel's safety and security protocols are in place and that all team members are aware of their responsibilities in this area.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including guests, team members, and other hotel departments.
- Experience: 2-4 years' experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel operation.
- Education: A Four (4) year college degree in a hospitality-related field is required.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with a strong focus on quality, productivity, and guest satisfaction. Strong financial management skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all stakeholders.
- Certifications: CPR Certification and/or First Aid Training is preferred.
