Caregiver Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver Specialist to join our team at Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized healthcare services. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $14 per hour, with opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, holiday pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 3% company match.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Caregiver Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living activities, such as personal care and hygiene
- Encouraging socialization and participation in community activities
- Assisting with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Developing and implementing individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each participant
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
