Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping/laundry staff
  • Schedule department hours to meet labor budget and census needs
  • Order housekeeping and laundry supplies within budget and maintain accurate inventory
  • Perform housekeeping and laundry duties, including mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and disinfecting
  • Stock laundry and housekeeping supplies
  • Provide job-specific training to departmental employees
  • Inspect facility cleanliness and sanitation, and enforce proper laundry and cleaning techniques

Requirements:

  • Experience in housekeeping with demonstrated supervisory skills
  • Ability to organize and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
